How many miles do you run per week?
- Between 5 and 10.
- Between 10 and 15.
- Between 15 and 20.
- More than 20.
Do you own sneakers that are *just* for running?
- I own sneakers but they're for any fitness or athletic thing, including running.
- Yup.
- I own different pairs for different kinds of runs: road, trail, winter, etc.
Were you fitted for them at a running specialty store?
Okay one more thing about sneakers. What can you tell me about them without looking at them?
- Size and color.
- Brand, size, color.
- Brand, size, color, heel drop, and details about how this version differs from previous versions of the same shoe.
You're 15 minutes into a 45-minute run through a residential area and you have to pee. What do you do?
- Run home ASAP.
- Find the most private place I can, drop trou, and get 'er done.
- Finish your run, holding it and hoping for the best.

Do you have a GPS watch?
- Nah.
- Yes, and I never run without it.
- Yes, and I wear it as my everyday (i.e. non-running) watch.
Have you ever planned travel or a life event (vacation, wedding weekend, birthday celebration) around a destination race?
- LOL no.
- My bachelorette party was a half-marathon (or similar).
- No, but I do a lot of research when I travel to make sure I know local running routes.
If your GPS watch or app died or quit mid-run, it would be:
- NBD.
- Pretty annoying because I like to track my performance data.
- Not the end of the world per se but basically that.
It's about 12 hours till your next run. How many weather apps have you consulted?
- None. I just step outside to get a sense and wing it.
- Just one.
- Two or more.
What do you know about the weather forecast for your next run?
- Whatever I've overheard people chatting about.
- Temperature and chance it'll rain.
- Temperature, wind speed, chance it'll rain.
- Temperature, wind speed, chance it'll rain, humidity.
Describe your attitude about fitting running into your schedule:
- I try to run regularly but if I don't get around to it, I don't stress.
- I start each week with my runs planned out and I really only move them or skip them if something important comes up.
- My runs are the building blocks of my weekly schedule and everything is planned around them, not vice versa.
Do you have favorite running socks?
- Nah, I just grab whatever's clean.
- I've tried a bunch of running socks and have some preferences.
- I have a lot to say about running sock performance.
Do you have more sports bras than regular bras?
- I don't wear bras.
- I think I have about the same number of each.
- No; more regular bras.
- Yup, definitely.
How many race t-shirts do you have?
- None, I don't really race.
- One or two.
- 3-5.
- More than 5.
Have you ever gotten excited to plan a running route?
What's the worst inclement weather you're willing to run in?
- If it's more than 50% likely to rain, I bail.
- I'd run in the rain if it wasn't crazy heavy.
- The only thing that really stops me is ice.
- I run in conditions other people don't even leave their houses during.
When it comes to running clothes, what's most important?
- Flattering fit and look.
- A combo of the looking good and performance (moisture-wicking, doesn't ride up, has pockets or thumb loops, etc.).
- As long as it has a pocket and wicks sweat, I will wear it.
Do you have BodyGlide or a similar product at home?
- IDEK what you're talking about.
- I've used it before but I don't keep it on hand.
- Yes. And maybe a backup.
When it comes to your running music, choose whichever one applies best:
- I choose a random workout-themed playlist from Spotify or a similar app.
- I use an app that selects music whose tempo matches my pace.
- I have separate playlists for: long runs, speed work, treadmill workouts, etc.
- I don't listen to music when I run.
Would you rather skip a long run (6+ miles) or do it on a treadmill?
- There's literally no way I'd run that long on a treadmill.
- There's literally no way I'd miss a long run.
How into foam rolling are you?
- Oh, I've been meaning to try that.
- I roll when I feel extra sore or tight.
- Foam rolling is a daily (or close-to-daily) part of my life.
Be honest. Gu is actually really good, right?
- Ew, no.
- I don't mind it.
- Honestly I'd frost a cupcake with it.
Have you ever posted a photo to social media with a running-related hashtag (e.g. #seenonmyrun, #runchat, #instarunner, etc.)?
- No.
- Yes.
- My Instagram feed is mostly running-related pics.
